Summer Fun! It started July 7th, and there are 4 more Fridays to go. Artists & Musicians of Arts Council of East Lambton are facilitating Morning workshops at the arena in Watford through the Warwick Parks & Rec Program.

These workshops are not just for kids. In fact, we believe these experiences might help anyone discover new talents. Kids enjoy them. Adults are fascinated. Surprise yourself.

Here is the line-up for August.

This Friday morning, August 4th, Neil Werden. You all remember Neil from last year...and you have met him at Creative Sundays, and occasional PD days. He is always inventive and so clever at recycling. His corner at the Art Shop always draws attention. He will help you envision and create your own sculpture from wood scraps. You will pick up some new skills from Neil. He will bring the tools you will need. You will amaze yourself.

Francis Martin... an imagination without limits. August 11th Drawing and August 18th Printmaking with Francis. This is a great opportunity to learn from someone who sees the smallest details. His classes are always relaxed and he will encourage you to do it your way. If you look at the murals around town, you will see what his work. Francis will help you to see and draw what is in your imagination. On August 18th, he will show you how to transfer and duplicate drawings with an easy block print process. Fun is guaranteed.

Sandy Burkhart of "Fun at the Library" fame in Forest... great skills... Fibre arts, woodworking, Felting, drawing, weird processes, on August 25th ... she will demystify weaving & you will understand so much more as you make your own fabric on a simple loom. Sandy is patient & kind, especially when you are thevone who finishes last.

All 2 hour workshops are $20 and require that you register though Warwick Township. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
